On August 2 and 9, 2021, the Children's Mindfulness Workshops took place with Julia Rodríguez.
These workshops, which were held in the gardens of the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center, were very well received by the children who attended.
In the first session, the participants enjoyed sharing with the rest of the group the emotions and feelings they felt at the time of the workshop, first sitting on the mats talking about the first physical feeling they had felt or the first emotion that had come to them. Then they walked slowly on the grass to the place where they were placed at first, and explained what they felt when doing it, they also colored a mandala using only three colors and took it home to finish it and explain the reason in the next session. for which they chose those three colors.
To finish, they had a moment of relaxation lying on the mat and played the Tibetan bowl as they got up one by one.
In the second session, the participants also began by sharing with the rest of the group the emotions and feelings they felt when conducting the workshop. In this session, he highlighted the imagination of the children when proposing postures and movements, and their participation in the workshop by doing the games and exercises. Again, to finish, they ended with a little meditation and relaxation.
