On April 9, 16, 23 and 30, it was held in the Cinema Room of the Pablo Ruíz Picasso Cultural Center, the Children's Reading Club, by the Oleaje Association, and by the hand of Cintia Albacete Fernández, responsible for the project .

The session began with the comments of the boys and girls that make up this club about the book they are reading. Each one chose one of the books that make up the collection "You decide the adventure", by Iván Babiano Nieto. These books are characterized by the reader having to choose the plot that the book should follow.

After talking about what each one has decided in their reading, they have played a game called “find someone what”, filling in a series of questions on a card so that the boys and girls that make up the group get to know each other better. After this, they have chosen the name of the reading club, “Planeta Historieta”, continuing with the reading of one of the stories of Memories of a bookmark, by Fran Muño, and ending the session with the development of a bookmark as a craft.

In the session on the 23rd, they were reading other books and writing on the expression board, the celebration of International Book Day having great importance in it.

Finally, in the session on the 30th, they handed in the book they were reading and after commenting on what they thought of the book and what ending they had chosen, they went on to read other short books such as I love you (almost always), by Anna Llenas ( pop-up), Is there anything more boring than being a pink princess? by Raquel Díaz Reguera, or Carry a book in the suitcase, by Virginia Read Escobal, later writing on the club's expression mural those words that they did not know.

Then they made a drawing related to the plot of one of the books they saw that day and, finally, they took the book they are going to start reading at home, Matilda, by Roald Dahl, or How to get out of a hurry by Barbara O `connor.

In this type of activity, the boys and girls of Torremolinos are interested in culture, they have a great time doing crafts and most importantly: they learn that reading teaches fun things.

All boys and girls can register by reserving a place each week by e-mail: Bibliotecapicasso@torremolinos.es
