On June 26, 2021, another session of the Feminist Reading Club - They write took place in the Exhibition Hall of the Pablo Ruíz Picasso Cultural Center.
In this session, the last of the season, the members of the club have spoken and debated about the book that they had previously read, Orlando, by Virginia Woolf, and also about the writer herself, about her life, the context in which she was write the play, etc.
Through the contributions of each participant, many aspects of a fascinating novel were discovered and that, finally, made them enjoy literature a lot, having a good time talking and company.
The book they talked about, at first it did not seem like it was going to give much play, but little by little that idea changed and the session lasted an hour and a half instead of an hour. For this reason, it should be noted that some of the people who have attended have admitted not having read it in full and, at the end, they have returned to take the book to give it another chance.
The meeting ended, as already indicated, an hour and a half after starting, the group saying goodbye in a happy and satisfactory way because of how good the club has been this year, wishing each other a happy summer full of joy and good books, and with desire to see each other again and to resume the sessions in October.
All people who are interested in signing up in October, can write an email to bibliotecapicasso@torremolinos.es
